AN ORGANISATION that provides a space for people to learn new skills has expanded.
Southampton Makerspace was launched in 2012 to provide a place for the community to come together and take part in a range of projects including woodwork, metalwork, electronics, computing and arts and crafts.
Having outgrown its original premises in Liners Industrial Estate the company has moved to a bigger home in Unit F on the same Freemantle industrial estate.
The new premises provides space for a more diverse range of hobbies, interests and activities and includes a kitchen, social area and a workshop. For more information visit somakeit.org.uk.
