RINGWOOD Brewery is toasting a record year of business, with pre-tax profits up 13 per cent on an annual turnover up five per cent to £9m.
David Welsh, managing director, said: "These results, against the background of a fiercely competitive sector, are a testament to the hard work of our staff and the loyalty of our customers."
Founded in 1978, Ringwood Brewery now employs 73 staff with seven pubs across Dorset and Hampshire.
The company also owns the Chateau de Fayolle vineyard, south of Bergerac.
More recently it bought, and has subsequently fully restored, the 15th century stone Chateau de Fayolle, set in the centre of the 100-acre estate.
The chateau is now available for commercial rent.
