FAREHAM-BASED Amiri Construction have started work on a £3.46m three-store office block at Whiteley.
When completed in July 2019, the building will provide accommodation for up to 74 businesses.
It is the first purpose built offices for their client, London based Bizspace Limited who currently offer more than 100 locations for commercial rental across the UK.
Nick Smith, development director at Bizspace Ltd, was joined by Amiri director Mark Vincent and Dave Gee, construction manager, and senior site Manager Ian Johnson, to celebrate the start of the project designed by Gloucester-based architects Roberts Limbrick Ltd
“This beautiful location deserves a new build office space and the finished building that will help solve the lack of business pace in the area,” said Nick Smith.
It’s one of the nearest sites to their Segensworth base that Amiri have helped develop. They are currently constructing the £3.9m extension to the Locks Heath Free Church which is also within a 1.3 mile radius of their head office.
