WINCHESTER'S Alfred's Brewery has celebrated its relaunch in larger premises.
Steve and Isabelle Haigh held a relaunch party at their new premises in Winnall.
The event saw a large number of people including the Mayor of Winchester, the chairman of CAMRA, local businesspeople and regular customers enjoy some of the different beers on offer.

Guests enjoyed a range of beers on the night, including the awarding winning Saxon Bronze, Ethelred (a mid amber autumnal beer) and the latest offering Fyrd (a ruby ale).
Steve welcomed his guests and thanked those who had helped him set up the new premises, after which the Mayor cut the red ribbon surrounding two large brewing vessels to officially open the new brew house. The Mayor was thrilled to be returning, as he opened Alfred's Brewery on it's first site six years ago.

Councillor Frank Pearson said:“When Steve started it really was a micro brewery, and now I can see what he has built it into! This beer has a character of it's own. I take incredible pleasure in opening this brewery, cheers to them both!”
The chairman of CAMRA, Deric Payne, also took the opportunity to present the “Winchester Beer of the Festival 2018” award.
The new premises and state of the art brew house will enable Steve to provide beer on a larger scale, as well as a greater selection of ales.
Alfred's Brewery can now be found just off Easton Lane behind Beaver Tool Hire.
