Christian Morris has joined planning, architecture and urban design consultancy Pro Vision as associate director.
He has been appointed to enhance the established architecture team at the practice, which has offices in Ampfield and Newbury and a team of team of 29 town planners, urban designers, architects and ecologists.
Christian, who lives in Hordle, near Lymington, sits on Southampton City Design Panel and has been a member of the judging panel of the International Property Awards for 10 years.
From 2006-2011, Christian developed his architectural career with Aukett Fitzroy Robinson where he was promoted to director and head of residential design in the UK. I
n 2006, he set up the Southampton office for the international design group which he purchased in 2011 and ran for a further six years under a licence agreement as Aukett Fizroy Robinson, later Aukett Swanke.
Prior to that he was associate at Charter Architects in Bouremouth from 2000-2006 and a senior architect at Lyons Sleeman Hoare in Hartley Whitney.
Early in his career, Christian worked in London for Fitzroy Robinson on major projects including the Lanesborough Hotel. By the age of 30, he was principal designer for projects, including a new office for Axa Sun Life next door to The Old Bailey, a new Crowne Plaza in the City of London and an office HQ in Bournemouth.
