JOHN Jupp, pictured middle, played the Sir Alan Sugar hardman in a team-building exercise for team building giant Progressive Resources.

The actor, employed by the Ringwood based company, ordered the staff seen here to raise as much money as possible in four hours for Southampton charity Wessex Cancer Trust.

John's brief for the rookies was a tough one they had four hours in which to collect sellable items from local companies which would later be auctioned on eBay, with the money raised going to the regional cancer charity.

So far more than £3,000 in donated items has been raised, including a meal for two at the luxury Chewton Glen hotel in New Milton, £200 of Musto clothing and a signed shirt and soccer ball from the Saints.

A representative of Wessex Cancer Trust accompanied each of the three teams who set off in a people mover supplied by Enterprise Rentals, with a budget of £50 and a business directory.
