Piranha RIBs will launch three new models at the show, including a 5.8m RIB ideal for family cruising.

sailing-making outfit Ultimate Sails, headquartered at Hamble Marina, is exhibiting for the first time.

Sales director Paul Hooker said: “Exhibiting at London as Ultimate Sails is a very important milestone for us. We are now in a position to show off our new brand which is about sail customisation and personalisation, offering our customers exactly what they need to maximise their sailing performance.”

Raymarine, the Portsmouth-based electronics specialists, will launch a cutting-edge night-vision camera. The T-Series thermal night-vision cameras allow boaters to “see” in the dark through clear video technology.

The boat show at the ExCeL arena will include a marina of around 70 used boats, sponsored by Fareham-based YachtWorld.com, plus a dedicated watersports zone with a 70m by 24m action pool as its centrepiece. A new used boats marina will also be launched in association with the website.
