THE Best of Wham! is heading to The Lights, Andover on Thursday June 7, for a special evening to rekindle the fire of George Michael and Andrew Ridgeley.
37 years after the formation of the prestigious pop group, they will be remembered through this brand-new concert staring Craig Webb, quarter finalist of BBC1’s let it shine, next Thursday.
In four years Wham! sold over 28 million records, topped the album charts three times, achieved four UK number one singles and produced eleven top 10 hits.
The show, brought to you by Sweeney Entertainments, will include Wham! classics such as Wake Me Up Before You Go Go and Freedom. Julie Sweeney, co- founder of Sweeney Entertainments, said: “We are thrilled to be presenting this amazing new show to venues across the UK – this is a non-stop Wham! party that is sure to leave audiences singing and dancing the whole way home!”
