A DRAG queen star and a legendary noughties pop band are among acts performing at Southampton Pride this year.

Taking centre stage on Saturday, August 26 at Guildhall Square, the celebrations will showcase live music, outdoor stalls and performances following last year's successful event.

Pop group Libery X are set to headline the event, minus their male counterparts, performing hits such as 'Just a Little'.

Daily Echo: Liberty X will be at the Foodies Festival in Earlham Park.

RuPaul's Drag Race UK winner The Vivienne also features, after withdrawing from pride last year.

Drag Syndrome, a troupe of fierce drag queens and kings with Down's Syndrome, also share top billing, challenging preconceptions about disability with their fabulous performances.
