NOT satisfied with the reformation of the Stone Roses, Blur and Pulp, Southampton had its own reunion.
Indie rockers Coaster got back together for one night only to show their support for The Joiners.
The band, who were regular performers there during the 90s, heard the Southampton music venue was suffering financial troubles and leapt on stage.
Coaster pulled in favours from bass player Damon Minchella (Ocean Colour Scene, Paul Weller) and drummer Steve White (Paul Weller, The Who, Oasis) to appear along side them. Young guest singer Ashley Ford also impressed.
The gig was lined up after Southampton favourites Delays added them to their support bill at one of their special Christmas gigs.
