THE HISTORY of the trumpet will be relived during a special concert in Hampshire.
Experienced recitalist Crispian Steele-Perkins, will travel through time, visiting the baroque period, when there were no valves on the trumpet, to classical music and jazz.
He will perform as part of the Stockbridge Music concert series. This will be the first of three events to be held in the town. Crispian will take to the stage on Saturday, from 7.30pm.
Over the next few months the town will also play host to a string quartet of students from the Royal Academy of Music and the world famous pianist David Owen Norris .
