FOR a young singer, Rag ’n’ Bone Man boasts a voice that could match the blues legends of old.
The highly-rated crooner, whose birthname is Rory Graham, creates an unusual crossover mix of hip-hop beats and blues.
Now music lovers in Southampton will have the chance to witness why Rag ‘N’ Bone Man is generating a buzz when he appears at The Joiners in St Mary Street on March 25.
His new single Hell Yeah, which is out now on Best Laid Plans, is a powerfully cinematic piece that follows a brother and sister’s joint hatred for their father, who has spent the past ten years in jail after killing their mother accidentally.
Directed by award-winning newcomers Truman and Cooper, the video, much like the track itself, explores the theme of guilt and how we pass it down, and makes for riveting, if unsettling, viewing.
