BEWARE – the zombies are approaching.
West End smash Circus of Horrors is marking its 20th anniversary in spectacular style by bringing Night of the Zombie to the O2 Southampton Guildhall on Friday, February 20.
The extreme troupe became a household name after rampaging into the finals of ITV’s Britain’s Got Talent and is still the only circus ever to reach the finals.
Last year Circus of Horrors became the first circus to appear in a West End theatre for 100 years.
The popular show first started at the 1995 Glastonbury Festival and became an instant hit – touring the world and sharing the stage with huge acts such as Eminem, Oasis, Iron Maiden and Marilyn Manson.
This year’s show, Night of the Zombie – is set in 2020 in a decrepit, corpse-ridden London.
The city is plagued by zombies and ruled by the undead and climaxing in an awesome flaming apocalypse.
The story twists and turns with grisly murders and sensational shocks, all interwoven with sword swallowers, knife throwers, daredevil balancing acts, astounding aerialists, a demon dwarf, a Guinness Book of World Records-holding hair hanging beauty, Sinister Sisters, and gyrating and fire limbo-ing acrobats.
The almighty cast perform to the devil-driven rock ’n’ roll of Dr Haze and the Interceptors from Hell.
It even has celebrity backing from the likes of Simon Cowell, Graham Norton, and Radio 1 DJ Scott Mills.
This is set to be a breathtaking show.
