Lyndhurst Drama and Musical Society present The Flint Street Nativity by Tim Firth this week as their first production of 2015.
Mizzis Horrocks’ class of seven-year-olds is about to perform their Nativity at Flint Street Junior School for the proud mums and dads – and the occasional social worker.
Squabbles arise when Gabriel wants to play Mary, the Star grumbles he’s not a proper star like they have at NASA, Herod won’t stop waving to his mum and dad and the subversive innkeeper is determined to liven up the traditional script.
And then the stick insect escapes...
Directed by Debbie Murray and Hannah Marks The Flint Street Nativity will run on January 29-31 at Vernon Theatre, Sandy Lane, Lyndhurst.
Curtain up at 7.45pm.
- Tickets £8 Thursday, £9 Friday and Saturday are available from The Gadget Tree, High Street, Lyndhurst, or on 02380 282729.
