FOLLOWING closely the storyline of the film on which it is based this musical version of Ghost tells of the murdered banker Sam and his attempts to reconnect with and protect his love Molly through the services of the fake psychic Oda Mae Brown.

This was a wonderfully conceived and slickly executed show, which made an impressive use of media and sound. The set was effectve and versatile and the theatre space was put to good use.

Director Michelle Smith had a talented cast at her disposal and played them to their strengths.

At the centre were two compelling performances from Megan Pake (Molly) and Dom Street (Sam).

Georgia Quick (Oda Mae Brown) was extraordinary in the part and greatly livened up proceedings whenever she was on stage. Amy Webb made a considerable impression as the Subway Ghost.

The audience certainly believed.
