PETER Gordon’s comic play revolves around the antics of a dreary English campsite and the characters within.
The central character, Neville (David Cradduck), was the life and soul of the piece and kept the audience chortling throughout, as the man you would never wish to be camping next to, along with his frightful and caustic wife (Helena Gomm).
Support from younger couple, Tony (Charlie Hellard) and Jenny (Rebecca Leadley) drew out the comedy.
Lighting and sound contributed well to this tricky pop-up venue and the overall atmosphere of the piece was perfectly suited to the outdoor setting of the Flower Pots Inn.
The pace was slick and the direction hit the spot making for a most enjoyable evening.
