BUDDING stars of the stage are being invited to audition to take to the Mayflower stage in Gangsta Granny by David Walliams.
The theatre is looking for an 18-year-old female dancer to perform a short solo dance in a Strictly Come Dancing Scene in the show, which runs from March 30 to April 3.
Sara Scott, Mayflower Engage Manager, said: “We are so excited to be able to offer this opportunity for a local young performer to take part in such a prestigious production on our stage.
"Here at Mayflower Theatre we are committed to supporting the next generation of theatre makers and giving opportunities for all to share our passion for live performance.”
Applicants should send a short choreographed video to an up-tempo piece of music no longer than 90 seconds to engage@mayflower.org.uk by February 14. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to audition at Mayflower Theatre on Sunday February 28.
