MEMBERS of Footlights Youth Theatre will be taking to the stage tonight as they debut Evita, the award-winning Andrew Lloyd Webber musical, at The Point.
From the same cast that brought their acclaimed production of Les Miserables last year, Evita is the story of the short rags-to-riches life of Eva Peron and features a host of well-known songs.
Expect to enjoy such classics as Another Suitcase, Another Hall, Oh What a Circus, You Must Love Me and the poignant hit made famous by Elaine Page and Madonna Don't Cry For Me Argentina.
The young cast have even received a message of encouragement from the professional cast of the UK Evita tour as they prepare for curtain up.
Evita runs until Saturday.
