BRITAIN’S Got Talent Star Matt Edwards brought a touch of magic to rehearsals for Disney's Peter Pan Jnr at Christchurch Regent Centre.

Illusionist, Matt, who finished fourth in the TV talent show in 2017, visited the hard-working youngsters as they prepare for the Disney show which runs at the Regent from December 11 – 15.

Matt injected some special magic to proceedings for his awe-struck young audience as he wowed them with magic and comedy, teaching them an illusion to be used in the show.

Matt Edwards has had numerous television appearances in the UK and has very quickly become one of the most sought after performers in the world. Simon Cowell is clearly a fan of Matt’s and said to him: “If I was launching a new show then I would book you in a heartbeat. Your personality is your U.S.P!”

Disney Peter Pan Jnr is made up of 135 locally auditioned young performers. It opens for nine performances on Tuesday December 11.

This musical play is based on the beloved Disney film and J.M. Barrie's enchanting play. Demand is high for one of the season’s most anticipated show’s that features three separate casts and an irresistible score of new arrangements of classic Disney songs.

The Ginger Boy Productions creative team behind Disney Peter Pan Jnr. boasts an array of experience including Southampton-born West End and Broadway star Earl Carpenter, revered theatre Director Jacquelyn Ockwell from Mayflower Engage and Assistant Producer and Safeguarding Officer Jo Barrington, also founder of South Coast Academy Performing Arts.
