SALISBURY City Hall’s new programme highlights includes a comedy bill which features some of the biggest names on the circuit.
It begins with Kevin Bridges, followed by Rhod Gilbert. Greg Davies, aka Mr Gilbert from The Inbetweeners, will make an appearance in October with his new show The Back of my Mum’s Head.
Then in November, it is Russell Kane, the controversial Frankie Boyle and QI funnyman Alan Davies.
The brilliant music programme starts with the sumptuous sounds of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra. City Hall also welcome back Fascinating Aïda after their successful Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Then Scotland makes its way south in the shape of The Proclaimers.
Salisbury Plain Military Wives Choir join the bill with We Will Remember Them, The Manfreds celebrate 50 years and June Tabor and Oysterband return following their BBC Radio 2 Folk Award wins.
John Cooper Clarke, the Bard of Salford himself, brings his punk rock poetry to a cabaret style event, the little ones can enjoy Hairy Maclary and Friends and Moscow Ballet La Classique return with The Nutcracker.
The Hairy Bikers will be cooking up a storm and another BBC personality, Southampton star of Autumnwatch Chris Packham, will be entertaining audiences with a presentation of his latest exquisite collection of images.
Tickets are on sale now.
