JURORS in the trial of a Hampshire man accused of murdering his wife have been sent home without reaching a verdict.
The nine women and three men have so far spent more than four hours trying to reach a verdict following the six-week trial.
Mike Gifford-Hull is accused of murdering his wife, Kirsi, following a row at their home in Harestock Road, Winchester, in September last year.
He admits killing her, claiming it was accidental, but denies murder.
The jury will resume its deliberations on Monday.
