THERE has been a sharp fall in the number of hate crimes being reported to Hampshire police.
New figures show recorded crime against people based on their |race, faith or sexual orientation fell in 2011. Disability and transgender-related crime was also down.
A total of 796 were recorded in 2010, down from 1,192 the previous year. This reflected a fall nationally, form 48,127 to 44,519.
