POLICE are hunting this man after someone tried to take pictures of a woman trying on clothes in a Southampton supermarket changing room.
The 29-year-old woman was about to leave the cubicle when she spotted a mobile phone or camera sticking over the top of the dividing wall.
She shouted at the person in the next cubicle and reported the incident to staff at the Sainsbury’s store in Portswood Road.
CCTV cameras caught a man leaving the changing area shortly after the victim left, at about 2.30pm on Saturday, November 10. He is white, stocky and aged 30-40, with short dark hair and a beard. He was wearing a green cable knit jumper, jeans and dark shoes.
Police are now appealing for help identifying the man.
Portswood PC Sean Taylor said: “This is a rare incident which occurred during a busy Saturday afternoon in a large supermarket. It was a particularly distressing experience for the woman and left her feeling extremely upset,”
Anyone who can identify the man should call PC Taylor at Portswood on 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
