A MAN was left with a fractured eye socket after being punched in the face during a violent attack in Southampton.
The 39-year-old victim was walking home along Shirley High Street between 12.20am and 12.55am on Sunday when he became aware of two youths in hooded tops following him.
The victim turned into Newland Avenue and was punched in the eye. He fell to the ground unconscious and woke to find his wallet containing £50 and bank cards missing.
