A HAMPSHIRE man has been charged after another man was left with a serious head wound in an attack in a town centre.
Scott Foster, 24, from Eastleigh, is due to appear before Southampton Magistrates' Court on January 18 after being charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
As reported, a 35-year-old man was left with injuries as he walked from a kebab shop in Market Street, Eastleigh, heading towards the Swan Centre.
Police are continuing to appeal for any witnesses to the alleged incident, which happened between midnight and 1am on Saturday, to call PC Claire Grant at Southampton Central on 101.
