A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was stabbed in a Hampshire home.
Officers were called to an address in Hill Park Road, Gosport, where the 47-year-old victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 34-year-old local man, who was present at the scene, is under arrest on suspicion of murder and is being questioned by police.
Officers are continuing to investigate the incident which they were called out to at 11.46pm on Christmas Eve.
A post-mortem to establish the cause of death was due to take place on Christmas Day.
Detectives from the Hampshire Major Investigation Team are leading enquiries and supporting next-of-kin.
