A Hampshire man has pleaded not guilty to having sexual encounters in the United States with a 13-year-old girl he reportedly met online.
Adam Robinson, 21, from Fleet, is accused of committing a ''lewd act upon a child'' six times from December 15 to December 23 - the day before the girl's 14th birthday, court documents in the US reveal.
Robinson appeared at San Bernardino Superior Court in California to deny all six charges, a court clerk said.
She said that a defence lawyer was appointed to represent him and bail was set at more than one million dollars.
Robinson will appear at a further hearing at the same court on January 9.
