MORE than £20,000 was stolen from a cash point at a holiday park.

A 29-year old man has been charged with burglary after officers were alerted to the scene by security at Nodes Point Holiday Park in Ryde, on the Isle of Wight

Some of the cash has been recovered after WightSAR Search and Rescue team assisted the police in finding the cash after searching the surrounding area.

Officers are investigating the possibility that there are other suspects involved in the iraid on The incident happened at 2.30am on Tuesday March 19.

A 29-yearold man  Basingstoke was charged with burglary and is bailed until Tuesday May 14 when he will appear at Isle of Wight Magistrate Courts for a preliminary hearing.
