SAMSUNG'S new flagship mobile, the Galaxy S4, has apparently been a victim of its own success, with the firm unable to meet demand.

The device, which was launched over the weekend has been a short supply, with operators unable to fulfil orders which were placed months ago by eager users.

To add further insult to injury, when UK users do finally get their hands of the current darling of the Android world, they may find it is not quite what they had been expected.

The eight-core version is not initially being released here, with Europeans instead getting a quad-core version, which will not offer the same blistering speeds as the octa-core version.
