A GRANDFATHER from the Isle of Wight is stripping off for charity.
Richard Rowe, 51, from East Cowes is bearing all for a sponsored skinny dip in Dorset.
He won’t be alone as he is taking part in a fundraising event by Marie Curie for the most skinny dippers, aiming to beat the record of 400.
They are holding four events around the country on Sunday, June 2.
“I decided to take the plunge (pun intended) and do something for charity, but running a 10k seemed just too hard, so I reckoned I could managed to strip off and run into the sea,” said Richard who is now a partner in a sustainability consulting firm in London.
“Marie Curie Cancer Care is a very worthy cause.
“Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to more people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes or in one of their hospices across the UK.”
