TWO men from Hampshire are on their way by pedal power from Land’s End to John O’Groats by cycle.
Matthew Bussey from Southampton and Mark Allibone from Bishop’s Waltham, along with friends Elwood Ruffle from London and Stuart Mastrocola from Bristol set out on May 18 and are nearing the end of their journey, which they aim to complete by Friday.
They are raising money for Headway, a brain injury charity which has a base in Totton, and the Gumboot Foundation, which supports community projects together with local leadership to change the life chances of some of South Africa’s poorest people.
