Southampton's own dancing sensation ‘Poppin’ Ron’ says he is working on a ground breaking new routine that he hopes will book his place in the final of Britian’s Got Talent.

Poppin’ Ron has got through to the live semi-final TV shows that are running all this week after facing the judges on Sunday and once again wowing them with his unique form of street dancing.

Speaking to the Daily Echo Ron, 22, said he was thrilled and was looking forward to performing to the nation again.

“I am still buzzing. I can’t believe this is happening to me, it is a dream come true. I am working on a new routine for the semi-finals that is all under wraps at the moment. What I hope to do is make people cry and laugh and just feel moved by what they see. I am working on it all the time so hopefully it will come together for the live show.”

Ron, whose real name is Falah Hassan, fled his native Syria with his brother in 2004 after his parents were killed. He was fostered in Southampton and began to dance and now runs dance classes in the city.

The live semi-final shows began last night with Ron due to perform at the end of the week.
