Tax credit claimants reminder
The 111,400 tax credit claimants in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, including 18,200 in Southampton, have been reminded by HM Revenue & Customs to renew their claims by July 31 or their payments may stop.
HMRC has started sending Tax Credit renewal packs out from late April until the end of June. A tax credits helpline number has been set up on 0345 300 3900.
