HAMPSHIRE’S celebrity auctioneer John Cameron will put his money where his mouth is for charity.

He and fellow Cash in the Attic star Jonty Hearnden will go head to head as John tries to raise as much as he can for Wave 105’s Cash for Kids by re-selling antiques on the BBC’s Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is tonight.

The money he makes on the programme will help the charity continue supporting disadvantaged children and young people in the south of England.

John, who studied at Southampton Institute of Education – now Solent University – said: “Going head to head with Jonty was a real challenge as he is an experienced dealer and with me being an auctioneer who only sells from the rostrum he had the upper edge.

“There was also bragging rights at stake with us both being experts from Cash in the Attic.”
