THEY were living the dream – if only for the morning.
For a group of commuters their trip work was rather more upmarket than normal.
The four from Hampshire and the Isle of Wight were treated by Camelot to sample the high life ahead of Friday’s Euromillions Millionaire raffle where the winner receives £1m each year.
Normally they take the ferry from their homes in Cowes to Southampton but this time they were collected by a gleaming Fairline Phantom 40ft motor yacht.
They were then whisked away across the Solent before cruising in style to Southampton’s Ocean Village.
One of the commuters, Alan Limb, a licensed insolvency practitioner for Business Recovery and Insolvency, said: “It has been really lovely to see how the other half live. I think I could get used to this.” He, along with Maria Hamar, Gemma Cook, and Rajinder Sangha, who work in Glanvilles Solicitors in Fareham, enjoyed a posh breakfast on board.
As they left they were treated with a hamper and chauffeured to work.
