ONE of the main events held at the National Motor Museum at Beaulieu drew record numbers.

A total of 16,507 people visited the two-day Spring Autojumble, smashing the previous record of 15,324 set almost 20 years ago.

Held on May 18 and 19, the Spring Autojumble featured more than 1,000 stands and a display celebrating the centenary of Morris cars.

Beaulieu’s events manager, Judith Maddox, said: “It has been wonderful to see this event grow over the years and we were delighted to finally break the attendance record set in 1994.This year’s show was thoroughly enjoyable with some great displays from car clubs.”
