MANY people celebrate their 21st birthday by having a wild night out on the tiles.
But one Southampton student will instead be whizzing around London on her bike to raise money for mental health charity MIND on June 8.
Second-year mental health student Nicola Bird, who studies at Southampton University, will be taking part in the night rider bike ride.
Sporting a yellow fluorescent jacket, she will ride past more than 50 moonlit London landmarks including Tower Bridge, Piccadilly Circus, The London Eye and the Houses of Parliament.
She said: “I am very passionate about mental health and the work that MIND do. It is the perfect way to spend my birthday doing something really worthwhile that I’ll never forget.”
