SHE scooped a first place in lyrical and made the Greek final at All England and now she’s bagged a place at a prestigious dance college.

All in a dancing day for 18- year-old Azaria Jeneway from Southampton. She began training with Emjay School of Dance in Swaythling at the age of four, and has since crafted choreography in ballet, modern, contemporary, jazz and Greek styles.

She has since been studying for her A-levels at Bitterne Park School in Psychology and Dance and after numerous auditions, Azaria has been offered a place at Tiffany’s Theatre College in Essex.

After a long written application and a day of dance, including an hour’s ballet and contemporary, singing and a monologue performance, she was picked from hundreds to take the two-year course.

The college has offered Azaria a 35 per cent scolarship, but she still needs to find £6,800 a year to fund her fees. In order to complete her dance diploma and follow her dream of being in musical theatre, dancing in the West End or on cruise ships and music videos, she is calling on the south for sponsors.
