Art Gallery closed off
THE west wing of Southampton City Art Gallery will be closed until further notice because of a water leak.
The leak was caused by a technical fault with an air handling unit.
It has meant all the artwork in the west wing has had to be removed from the space as a precaution.
A council spokesman said that none of the artwork has been damaged, but the west wing will remain closed until further notice while the council investigates the leak and makes the necessary repairs.
