A GROUP of ambassadors of the Rose Road Association based in Hampshire which supports children with disabilities came together to bury a time capsule.
The capsule contains photos, artwork from the children and fundraising relics which represent life at Rose Road in Aldermoor Road, Southampton. It was shown to the Earl of Wessex last year when he paid a visit to the association to celebrate its diamond Jubilee.
Now the capsule is buried deep beneath the ground outside the association’s base with the aim of it being uncovered in 60 years.
One of the ambassadors, Nina Basset, said: “It is such a pleasure to be associated with such a fantastic place as Rose Road and to be invited to be part of not only the association’s present but also its positive and exciting future.”
