Traffic on the Redbridge Roundabout in Southampton
A MAJOR city road is down to one lane, after manhole collapsed.
Redbridge Roundabout, which has only just seen resurfacing work completed, is down to one lane after a double manhole collapse, according to the council.
The collpased manholes are onthe inbound portion of the roundabout, which is a major node on the city's transport network, so motorists can expect delays both into and out of Southampton during this evening's rush hour.
It is expected the roundabout will be down to one lane for at least two hours.
