A HAMPSHIRE dad is continuing his mission to help those fighting the disease that robbed him of his daughter.

After its huge success last year, Simon Hartley, is organising a second epic pub crawl in memory of his daughter Stacey, who died of skin cancer last year.

The 20-year-old from Blackfield had never been a sunbather but lost her battle with the disease just five months after being diagnosed, leaving her family heartbroken.

But since her death, they have been determined to make a difference to help find a cure for the disease, raising more than £11,000 for the British Skin Foundation, by hosting the first pub c r aw l and with Simon and his friend Marc Daniels climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Now they hope to raise even more with the launch of the second pub event, Stacey’s Live, Love, Laugh Charity Pub Walk, and Simon wants scores of people to join in the fun, which will see them stop off at ten different pubs in the New Forest.

The walk will start at the Hythe Club car park at 10.45am, on June 29, and will end at the Langley Tavern at 7.15pm.

Entry is £20 each. All money will go towards the British Skin Foundation and Oakhaven Hospice, in Lymington.

The deadline for entry is June 7.
