TWO cyclists got the perfect warm up ahead of a gruelling cycle ride from John O’Groats to Land’s End by having a sponsored spin at a Southampton gym.

Hampshire-based Mark Langford who is head of Business at Harwood Southampton Audi and Julian Hewlett both cycled 163 miles at a spin at David Lloyd gym in Frogmore Lane, Southampton in aid of autistic charity Autism Wessex.

As well as spinning for three hours there was a guess the mileage competition, and David Lloyd general manager Ian Edmunds and his 14-year-old daughter Lucy rode a third bike in support.

Mark and Julian will be riding from John o’Groats to Land’s End on June 8 through to June 17. To sponsor the pair visit virginmoneygiving.com/team/twa sjogle.
