ROLLY Tasker Sails UK is on course for expansion following the appointment of a new sales manager.
Chris Haylett joined the Southampton-based company in July and one of his first tasks is to build the Rolly Tasker brand in the UK, as well as setting up a network of national agents.
International sailmaker Rolly Tasker was established in 1949 and in the past 64 years has sold over 2.2 million sails worldwide.
Chris has been in sales since 1989. A keen yachtsman himself, Chris has sailed extensively in south-east Asia and in the past five years he has specialised in sales to the marine industry.
Managing director of Rolly Tasker Sails UK John Yate, said: ‘I am delighted Chris has come to join the company. His wide experience of the UK yachting sector and his personal enthusiasm will be a great asset to both the company and our customers.’ Rolly Tasker sails are suitable for all types of craft from the smallest dinghies to the largest ocean yachts.
