THE annual celebration of field sports returned to a rain-lashed Alresford.
Hampshire Country Sports Day, sponsored by the Countryside Alliance, gave the chance for the public to see and take part in the action.
Among the attractions were gundog demonstrations, a parade of hounds, an inter-hunt jumping competition, a terrier and lurcher show, a fun dog show, fishing, falconry displays, clay pigeon shooting and many trade stands.
The event on Sunday was held at Tichborne Park, where it has been staged for more than 10 years.
