A UK tour of the multi award-winning theatrical spectacle Slava’s Snowshow opens at The Mayflower next week.

Southampton is the first of eight cities to be treated to the show, created by Slava Polunin, renowned international artist and artistic director of St Petersburg Circus.

Combining hilarity and poignancy with breathtaking spectacle, Slava’s Snowshow is the winner of the Time Out, Olivier and Drama Desk awards for most unique theatrical experience.

Enter a joyous dream-like world. A world in which a cobweb envelops the audience and one tiny piece of paper begins a heart-stopping blizzard of snow.

Mixing hilarious clowning with stunning visual effects, Slava’s Snowshow is led by a world-renowned company of clowns influenced by Chaplin, Marcel Marceau and Engibarov.

The show’s popularity overseas has seen it performed in 120 cities in 30 countries to more than 3 million spectators in over 4000 performances.

Slava’s Snowshow, which was last at The Mayflower two years ago, will then return to London’s Royal Festival Hall in December.
