A JUDGE told a Southampton man who he had jailed for 18 months: “When you are released from custody, I hope you will have learnt the error of your ways. It is only you who will keep yourself out of prison in the future.”
The city crown court had heard how Connor Halford had punched one man in the face and later robbed a 15-year-old schoolboy of his mobile phone.
Halford, 21, of no fixed address, admitted causing actual bodily harm and robbery.
