SUPERFAST broadband is on the way for five per cent of Hampshire, according to council bosses.
Hampshire County Council leader, Cllr Roy Perry, has agreed the release of up to £9.2m to extend the Hampshire Superfast Broadband Programme so that 95 per cent of premises have access to it. That would represent an increase of more than 27,000 locations.
Cllr Perry said 90 per cent of premises will be able to access faster broadband by the end of 2015.
