TWO Hampshire universities have joined forces to launch a campaign to encourage students to get voting in the next General Election.
The University of Southampton and Solent University have teamed up with the Bite the Ballot organisation in a bid to get more students to polling stations.
It comes as figures show that in the 2010 General Election, little more than half of all 18- to 24-year-olds were registered to vote, and just 44 per cent voted.
