TOMORROW is National Libraries Day, and a string of free events are going on around Southampton.
Bitterne Library will host a meet the author event with local thriller writer Jim Raven from 2-3pm.
The Central Library will be the venue for sessions on how to use Ancestry.com, which will start at 11am and 2pm.
The library will also host a workshop at 10.30am where children can make their own paper cities.
A bake-off event for youngsters will take place at Portswood Library from 11.30am to 1pm.
Youngsters in three age categories – three to five, six to ten, and 11 to 15, should bake their cakes before presenting them on the day. The winner will be announced at 1pm.
